The task was to create a 3D animated info video describing the activities in a simplified format understandable to laymen. We had to visit their 64 plants to study the process. and finally selected 8 plants, for the shoot. The explanatory video communicated well with the common people and gave an awareness of the need of eco-friendly development.
Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (EMPOWER) was established in 2003 with an objective to enable the real estate sector to efficiently utilize energy resources through District Cooling Services (DCS). It was set up as a joint venture between Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and TECOM Investments, a member of Dubai Holding through a Royal Decree issued by the Ruler of Dubai.
Visually explaining a complex and scientific procedure to common people without losing the core content was the biggest challenge we had to face. The shooting process too was challenging as we had to cover it without interrupting the work. Our team had to visit their 64 plants for pilot study and shortlist 8 for shooting.
